The e-VETS Resource Advisor assists veterans preparing to enter the civilian job market.

Department of Veteran Affairs
The Department of Veteran Affairs provides a wide range of benefits including; disability, education and training, vocational rehabilitation and employment, home loan guaranty, dependent and survivor benefits, medical treatment, life insurance and burial benefits.

Provides a wealth of resources for veterans residing in the State of Florida.

Department of Labor VETS
Provides resources and expertise to assist and prepare veterans obtain meaningful careers, maximize their employment opportunities, and protect their employment rights.

Pensacola State Vet Department
Helps student veterans navigate their educational benefits and how those benefits are applied toward PSC tuition. The Veteran Department at PSC also ensures that all the required certifying documentation gets to the VA in a timely manner. This center also provides veteran specific resource which may include; use of a computer lab, tutoring services, and career development counseling.

UWF Vet Department
Helps student veterans navigate their educational benefits and how those benefits are applied toward UWF tuition. The Veteran Department at UWF also ensures that all of the required certifying documentation get to the VA in a timely manner. This center also provides veteran specific resource which may include; use of a computer lab, tutoring services, and career development counseling.

Gulf Coast Veteran Advocacy Council
Local organization that serves as a resource to assist veterans in accessing their VA benefits.

Pensacola Vet Center
The Vet Center provides counseling to veteran’s who served in war-time eras and victims of sexual assault.

Joint Ambulatory Care Center (VA Clinic)
This VA clinic serves all veterans who meet eligibility requirements as outlined by the VA. Any veteran needing healthcare should contact the VA by phone at (800) 827-1000 to apply or apply online using the E-benefits website.

Veteran Benefit Project
VBP is a local organization that can help veterans and their family members get access to VA benefits they may be entitled to at no cost to the veteran.

Vocational Rehabilitation and Employment
An extension of the VA that acts on behalf of disabled veterans who may need a change career fields because of a service connected disability. Any veteran interested must apply online through the  VA E-benefits website – prior to contacting the local office.

National Archives and Records Administration
Request military records and learn about other services for yourself or a family member.

Veterans Upward Bound Program:
Veterans program designed to motivate and assist veterans in the development of academic and other requisite skills necessary for acceptance and success in a program of post-secondary education. The program provides assessment and enhancement of basic skills through counseling, mentoring, tutoring and academic instruction in the core subject areas. The primary goal of the program is to increase the rate at which participants enroll in and complete post-secondary education programs.
