New Employee – Training Programs

On-The-Job Training Program (OJT)

The CareerSource Escarosa job developers and professionals, through the OJT program, provide a multitude of services for area businesses. Our job developers and professionals can help save you time and money by learning more about your specific needs by pre-screening applicants. After the training contract is drawn, our staff continues to provide guidance and support to your new employee(s).

Recognizing that most new employees need time on the job before they become fully productive, we can pay up to half their wages for up to six months while you teach them to do their job. Whether you are a small business owner with limited budget for training new employees, or a personnel manager for a large company who is experiencing difficulty in matching the proper workers to specialized job slots, there is a good chance that our On-The-Job Training (OJT) Program can assist you.

For OJT program eligibility and additional information, please review our OJT Guidelines and Policy.
