Retina Specialty Institute, a leading vision clinic in Pensacola, partnered with CareerSource Escarosa to offer opportunities for local disabled veterans to train for careers as Ophthalmic Technicians.
Through CareerSource Escarosa’s On-the-Job Training (OJT) Program, four local veterans were hired and trained for a period of six months. Now that training is complete, the technicians are studying and preparing to become certified Ophthalmic Technicians.
The Retina Specialty Institute looks forward to continuing its partnership with CareerSource Escarosa to provide training and career opportunities for our hometown heroes through the OJT program.
