Florida Ready to Work takes the guesswork out of hiring. It is an innovative new employee credentialing program sponsored by the state of Florida. Florida Ready to Work gives participating employers a competitive edge by reducing employee turnover and training costs, saving you time and money in the hiring process.
The program tests job skills and work habits to help you identify applicants with the most potential. Florida Ready to Work job seekers arrive with a credential from the state of Florida that documents their qualifications. To earn the credential, a job seeker must take three assessments: Applied Mathematics, Reading for Information and Locating Information. These assessments are unique because they test the skills required for more than 99 percent of all jobs today. Florida Ready to Work also measures soft skills with a Behavioral Skills assessment, that includes communicating effectively; conveying professionalism; promoting teamwork and collaboration and thinking critically/problem solving.
