Florida Ready To Work
Florida Ready to Work is a free, state-sponsored career readiness and credentialing program designed to help employers identify job candidates with the foundational skills needed to succeed. By reducing hiring, training, and turnover costs, the program gives businesses a competitive edge and supports workforce development across Florida.
Participants earn up to three stackable credentials—Digital Skills, Soft Skills, and Academic Employability Skills—each validated through proctored assessments. These credentials demonstrate mastery in areas such as communication, professionalism, teamwork, critical thinking, technology use, and workplace math, reading, and data analysis. Florida Ready to Work equips jobseekers with the essential skills employers demand, helping them stand out in today’s skills-based economy.
