I would like to thank CareerSource Escarosa for helping me achieve my dream of employment in a field where I can actually help people! I came to the CareerSource Escarosa One-Stop Center because I needed to brush up on my computer skills and update my resume. My Workshop Advisor, Craig Shumaker, was so friendly and knowledgeable throughout the process. He helped me update my resume, which was the first step to receiving my interview. The Workshops and one-on-one assistance I received from Craig, helped me gain more confidence in my computer skills. I even found my current position on the Employ Florida Website (which was something I learned more about in a workshop session). I am proud to say that I am now working for the Children’s Home Society of Florida in a position that I find to be fulfilling and rewarding! Without Craig constantly encouraging me, I would not have gone for it and been able to achieve my dream!
I highly recommend visiting CareerSource Escarosa for anyone seeking services to enhance their skills, to make job connections and individuals looking for a career change! I was helped in all of these areas in a fun, interesting and encouraging way.
