I recently had the pleasure of working with CareerSource Escarosa’s Business Services Department to post a job opening and help identify potential candidates on Employ Florida Marketplace. We are a small optometric office whose greatest priority is providing excellent patient care and customer service. Finding candidates with the qualities and work ethic we need isn’t always an easy task, as they don’t always have experience in the optical field. The assistance we received through the On-the-Job Training Program, has allowed us to train new employees during the first four months of their employment to ensure they’re able to provide the quality patient care and customer service we strive for. In return, the individual is provided the opportunity to train for a new career!
